Citadel’s Community Service Takes Off
Lake Charles, LA – Alongside a quickly accelerating business tempo, Citadel Completions continues to ramp up its support for (and participation in) local community activities. Last week, Citadel collaborated with LifeShare Blood Centers to host a blood drive. Dozens of employees and business partners donated. vital, life-saving blood. One participant, Cletus Dugas, marked his 73rd blood donation! Citadel plans to organize future blood drives on a consistent basis to satisfy an important need in the Southwest Louisiana area.
Then over the weekend, Citadel was proud to sponsor the Southwest Louisiana Hot Air Balloon Festival, held right next to Citadel’s facilities at Chennault International Airport. Several fun activities were offered, including fireworks, a KidZone, live music, a BBQ cook off, carnival rides, and of course, hot air balloons. Attendees could take tethered balloon rides, and at dawn there was an amazing “balloon glow” display. Citadel was honored to support the community of Lake Charles with this family-friendly, aviation-themed event.
