Lake Charles, LA – This week, Citadel Completions received its European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 Maintenance Organization Approval. Citadel’s previous and on-going aircraft modification and maintenance work on Boeing and Airbus aircraft has been carried out under US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority Part 145 repair station certificates. The new EASA certificate now authorizes Citadel to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul services on aircraft registered in any of EASA’s 32 member countries, which includes all members of the European Union and European Free Trade Association. Earning these certifications required Citadel to satisfy each regulatory agencies’ requirements with fully developed Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, acceptable facilities and equipment, and a fully qualified work force. Citadel Completions is continuing to grow, with additional national regulatory and international industry standardization certifications close to completion.
